About Me

I am an experienced attorney dedicated to helping people get out of debt. I honed my skills on the southside of Chicago - in neighborhoods like Chatham, Roseland and the South Shore - filing Chapter 7 bankruptcy and Chapter 13 bankruptcy. My tenure in debt and financial counseling spanned the collapse of the housing market and an economic recession. I heard the stories of strong and resilient people who suddenly lost their jobs. The mother and father of three beautiful girls, on the verge of losing their home to foreclosure. The single mother piecing together rent and daycare expenses with two part-time jobs. Hard-working people who found themselves with nowhere to turn to. Those stories changed my life. These stories are what push me to to do more.

I have counseled thousands of clients through difficult financial times. My mission is to see what we can do to make sure that you are safe. We're here to help.

Originally, a Chicago native, I left to attend Indiana University in Bloomington, IN. There, I met my wife and we moved back to Chicago in 2005. I graduated The John Marshall Law School in 2008 and have been practicing law ever since. We live in Chicago with our wonderful little Maltese, Yuki.
